Can’t somebody do this for me?

Do you really need technical skill to make it online?

Watch this opera singer — Cristina — on a Spanish talent show —
particularly what she did from 1:11 to 1:30 — then I’ll tell you.

Phew! She’s amazing.

Lots of IM newbies know nothing about HTML, FTP, audio, video, writing, or marketing… and have no plans to pick up these skills.

Some goo-roo somewhere convinced them that that stuff’s not necessary. They can simply outsource EVERYTHING in their business without bothering with those messy techie details.

Can they really do that?

Well, yes… and no.

It’s true that the big players online don’t handle their own tech stuff.

But that doesn’t mean they can’t do it. Or they didn’t learn that stuff before they made it big.

Most of the big online players know all that stuff… because it gives them a HUGE edge over the competition.

Because they know what’s easy and difficult to build.

And they’re not held hostage by contractors who take advantage of their ignorance by screwing them blind on time and money.

And they can prototype something new in a few minutes to see if it works… before sending it into the contractor abyss.

Should IM newbies learn tech skills?

You don’t need to be an expert… but you should be competent.

If you make your living online, then have respect for your profession… and learn your trade.

Wall Street multi-millionaire traders have this motto: “You’ve gotta learn before you earn.”

And that’s true in IM too.

Many years ago, Houdini (the world-famous escape artist) showed a friend his library of thousands of books on magic and escapology.

His friend was shocked. “You don’t need those books. You’re Houdini!”

Houdini smiled. “Those books are WHY I’m Houdini.”

A famous personal-development coach says, “Poor people have big TVs. Rich people have big libraries.”

So, grasshopper, you’ve gotta learn some stuff before you can make the big bucks.

Outsourcing’s fine. But don’t short-circuit your success by being lazy. Learn your trade.

Just like Cristina.

Lot’s of rockers could sing that song about as well as she did.

But how many have the technical skill to sing a rock chorus as an aria (see 1:11)?

Almost none.

That’s why she’s special… and successful.

So, learn a little more EVERY day. You can thank me when you make it BIG.

And, if you’re looking for an inexpensive way to learn some more IM fast,
